Rev. Marsha McDaniel, Associate Minister

 

Marsha McDaniel currently serves as the Minister of Education at First Baptist Church of Indianapolis. A native Hoosier, her background includes teaching, workshop leading, writing, and editing worship materials. She has provided leadership for national conferences in Christian education and regional groups of professional church leaders. Marsha holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana State University and a Master's degree in Adult Education from Indiana University. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Edna Martin Christian Center.

 

As an Associate Minister, Marsha works with groups and individuals responsible for educational ministries, Stephen Ministry, and communications, in addition to providing pastoral care and worship leadership.

 

Marsha is an avid reader and enjoys traveling, handwork, attending the theater, and walking her dog. She and her husband Jim, have a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jeff Stang, and two granddaughters, Ellie and Evelyn.
