Beginnings Preschool

pre groupBeginnings Preschool is a four-part developmental program designed to provide secure, loving care for young children and to offer parents a consistent time to care for themselves. Sponsored by First Baptist Church of Indianapolis, Beginnings strives to meet the physical, spiritual, social, and emotional needs of children from infancy through age 5.

School Year
Beginnings Parents’ Day Out is offered from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (Optional Stay and Play offered from 1:30-3:00 p.m.) Monday through Friday, August-May. It is designed for children from 6-36 months old. The low staff-to-child ratio fosters a warm and caring atmosphere. Children may come as many days as parents wish.

Beginnings Preschool offers classes for 3-5 year-olds from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (Optional Stay and Play offered from 1:30-3:00 p.m.) on Monday through Friday, August-May. Parents may choose how many days a week they want their child to attend. With an emphasis on nature and the out-of-doors, the preschool children and their teachers go outside almost every day, dressed for the weather.  Other daily activities include music, stories, art and play time in the gym.

Fall 2014
We are offering several Optional Days with the 2014-2015 calendar.  The first is our Early Bird start date of August 11.  The regular school year starts on August 25.
